Pushing boundaries together since 2003

Every step counts

At To Walk Again, we believe in the power of movement – both physical and mental. For anyone with a physical disability, we offer the opportunity to (re)discover and strengthen their abilities through innovative sports and rehabilitation programs.

Get up, move, and take steps toward a life full of new possibilities

We need your support!

Sports rehabilitation for people with physical disabilities, compared to people without disabilities, is a lot more expensive.
To make up the difference…is to make up the difference.

Everyone with a physical disability has the right to affordable sports & rehabilitation. To be able to offer our offer (sports activities and long-term rehabilitation through height technology) in a low-threshold manner, we are 100% dependent on your actions and donations.

We need to invest further. Medical and technological developments are constantly evolving, and TWA also remains in constant flux through investment. We dream of more: of a new step robot for paralyzed children, of a more extensive sports and exercise offer, of a center in every Flemish region, of further research into robotics in the home environment, …

Our operation is still loss-making, when it should at least be cost-neutral. In order to offer our offerings at a low cost, we rely 100% on your campaigns and donations.

More than 40,000 Flemings need support

In Flanders alone, there are 3,500 people with spinal cord injury and 4,000 children with cerebral palsy (CP) who need constant supervision while moving.
In addition, there are roughly 11,000 people with a noncongenital brain injury. Looking at Belgian figures, our country has about 12,000 people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). In Belgium, there are also 52 strokes (CVA) per day and 800 amputations per year.

A solid group of people who, despite a positive attitude, need frequent and precise guidance.
