In order to optimally rehabilitate, it is important to keep moving and to keep triggering your body. To Walk Again offers the ideal environment for this. Besides our specific sports offer for children, adolescents and adults, TWA also provides a unique rehabilitation concept for the latter group, the REVAlution Center. This post rehabilitation center in Herentals is first and foremost a story of hope, enthusiasm and energy. We have the newest and most advanced technological equipment that allows our people to continue their rehabilitation after classic rehabilitation.

Of course, our starting point is always the patient. Based on the patient's needs, expectations and goals, we put together the appropriate exercise therapy, with the technology providing us with a helping hand. We bring the latest developments to our patients in an accessible way and strive for an optimal physical and psychological quality of life for everyone.

The REVAlution Center is equipped with various high-tech methods to help everyone in the right way. Together with the patient, we look for a rehabilitation that he or she feels 100% good about.

In persons with (in)complete paralysis, normal muscle activity is often insufficiently stimulated. Blood flow and bone loading also no longer occur as they should. In order to prevent or minimize lacerations and fractures, we use functional electrostimulation. The muscles are stimulated again, which results in long-term gain/maintenance of muscle mass, better blood circulation and higher bone density. In our center, this muscle stimulation is done in combination with a cyclical bicycle movement.


Gravity is always there, everywhere. Except when you are walking with this equipment, the ZeroG. The dynamic support takes away some or all of the gravity on your body. Through this intelligent technology, it is possible for individuals with incomplete spinal cord injury, neurological disease or prosthetic limbs to improve balance and gait in a safe environment. For the patient, it is also an advantage that the movement anxiety is largely eliminated.


EKSO exoskeleton

The Ekso Bionics is a stepping robot designed for people with weakness in the lower limbs or paralysis as a result of a neurological disorder (CVA, paraplegia, multiple sclerosis, etc.) The eksoskeleton is used for people who have little or no step function anymore. The gait pattern of the stepping robot is very similar to the normal gait pattern. The user is fully supported and helps with the weight transfer so that the next step is controlled by the motor system of the robot. If the user still has function in the lower limbs, this can also be used to train the muscle strength of the legs.

Furthermore, it has the advantage of being easily adaptable because it is designed for clinical use in rehabilitation. Patients train on arm strength, trunk stability and fitness, but it also benefits the health of the body (e.g. mobility, blood circulation, organs get space during standing and spasticity improves).


The correct movement and posture patterns are very important in the patient's progression. Using video analysis, foot pressure measurement and static or dynamic vertebral column analysis, we detect any abnormalities. Patients learn correct patterns during gait rehabilitation on the treadmill.


In our rehab center we also evaluate muscle strength. For paraplegics, this is important to monitor shoulder complaints, for people with muscle diseases, it can be discovered on which muscle groups they should train more. The better the balance between the different muscle groups, the better the cooperation and thus the gait pattern. For wheelchair users, trunk stability is also very important in daily life. The Myoline can be used to train the oblique abdominal muscles for a good wheelchair position.



The To Walk Again REVAlution Center coaches individuals with physical disabilities in specific sports areas. During the coaching different components are addressed, such as posture and movement education, specific strength and condition training and functional training. Analyses make it possible to develop an individual exercise program with a view to optimizing training gains and preventing overuse injuries. HUR technology provides the opportunity to exercise in a comfortable and user-friendly way. This allows patients who are wheelchair-dependent to move around any fitness machine without assistance in order to train their upper limbs for strength and power posture. Each patient can be followed individually because HUR works with an online log-in system. For each patient a program can be set up individually by the therapist after which the patient can practice independently. After a while we can see their evolution in the computer and make adjustments to intensity, number of repetitions, ... .


The Gloreha is a rehabilitation device that is often used for the rehabilitation of the upper limbs after a cerebral hemorrhage. If there is a paresis or plegia in central or peripheral neurological injuries to the hand/wrist region, the Gloreha can be used successfully. Also for other pathologies such as sympathetic reflex dystrophy, rheumatic disorders, dupuytren's disease and postoperative images, the Gloreha is perfectly usable. Thanks to the Gloreha, different treatment goals of the patient can be achieved, such as: maintaining/improving the range of motion, limiting the present neglect, prevention of contractures and adhesions, reducing pain and edema, promoting neuroplasticity in the brain and especially improving the functionality in daily life.


A prosthesis is a beautiful thing. It gives you, after an amputation, again the freedom to go wherever you want. Correct alignment and adjustment of the prosthesis is essential to feel completely comfortable. Through our collaboration with the orthopedic technician, your prosthesis or braces can be adjusted to the best of your ability.

When the prosthesis feels optimal for the user, we schedule a comprehensive gait analysis. Based on these results, a training program will be designed to get the most out of the prosthesis and approximate the natural walking pattern as closely as possible.


Many wheelchair patients suffer from musculoskeletal problems. It is therefore extremely important that this can be addressed by offering specific care.

Manual therapy focuses on restoring and improving the musculoskeletal system. The treatment techniques include mobilizations, oscillations and gentle manipulations of the joints, mobilization techniques during movements, neurogenic mobilizations, stretching techniques, deep transverse frictions, trigger point treatment, stabilization training, exercises for the sense of posture and movement, coordination exercises, ...


A standing device (also known as a standing table) is an ideal tool to help you stand. Even if you have a complete loss of function in the lower limbs. A standing table supports you in a safe and stable way at your knees and feet and strengthens your hips. Standing up has several benefits: You lower the risk of pressure sores and maintain your sense of balance. Standing upright allows you to see your surroundings from a completely different perspective than when sitting down. Standing up regularly is good for your bones and reduces the risk of osteoporosis. Standing upright stimulates breathing, digestion, circulation and kidney functions.


Omni Hi5 is a portable hand rehabilitation device. It can be used for different purposes. The device is placed on the forearm, at the level of the muscles that show loss of strength. The device detects and analyzes the EMG signals of the patient through the electrode sensors, and simultaneously supports the movement through a comfortable electrical stimulation. In this way, a contraction will occur in the muscles. If the patient has no hand function, the muscle contractions can still reduce spasticity, improve the mobility and blood circulation and stimulate the nerves.
